Child Safeguarding ServicesChildren are a Gift from God
 The
members of the Child Protection Committee are responsible for the
ongoing development and implementation of best practice procedures and
policy in every parish.

Work to date:
- Training - information sessions given in all parishes throughout the diocese.
- Parish
representatives trained and appointed. Their role is a) to ensure
that good practice guidelines operate within each parish and b)
facilitate reporting of complaints/concerns to the Delegate, Marian
Stack.
- Ongoing support for the parish representatives is a priority.
- Reflection on and evaluation of committee's work is regularly done.
